She also directs the children’s choir at St. David’s and serves as music director for the yearly Summer Performing Arts musical theatre camp.

She runs an independent music studio in South Austin where she teaches piano, voice, theory, and composition/songwriting. She works with over 40 weekly students, from young children (5) to grandparents.

Jessy holds a Bachelor of Music and minor in business from the University of Texas at Austin, and enjoys continuing her studies as a pianist, vocalist, and pedagogue with private lessons. A music teacher since 2019, she is a member of the Austin District Music Teachers Association (ADMTA) and Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).

In addition to piano, her musical background includes studies in composition, violin, percussion/drum set, and guitar.
